Listen, was included in the tattoo collection available for Mike Smith’s Tattoo Studio as part of Skulptur Projekte Münster. My ear-tattoo references the artist Max Neuhaus, who’s project in New York City in the early 1970’s titled LISTEN, was where he gave guided tours of New York based on the sounds of the city, and Pauline Oliveros’ concept of Deep Listening.
