The Cut-up Series is an ongoing project that focuses on recognition, the face, and its rearrangement. This series includes historical and public figures that include; comedians, composers, musicians, philosophers, activists, filmmakers, and authors. Some of the faces might be visually recognized as historical or famous, whereas others may only be known for their name and not their face. The rearrangement of the face slows down the facial recognition and opens up other possible visual experiences and associations.
